Fading along the roadside, the motel has ceded to the franchise with Sara Lee breakfast buffet except for those few run by hipsters (e.g.
Kate's Lazy Meadow in the Catskills or the
Holiday Music Motel in Door County or the sons and daughters of the original owners as is the case with the Twilite Motel in Bloomer, Intact except for the go-kart track out back, the Twilite at last glance featured original room configurations, furnishings, tiled showers, and paper bathmats.
